Well for one the Bible commands us to:
25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching. Hebrews 10:25
The older I get the more I realize how smart my parents are. When I was younger, I thought I knew better then mom and dad. I think we have all had those moments. But slowly as life goes on I realize mom and dad knew best.
When you read the Bible and you live for GOD for any length of time - you find that God really knows best.
Very simple commands that are found throughout the word of God. And to numerous to go over, but one of them is very simply. Go to church.
Going to church is like plugging your phone in after a long day of heavy use. It recharges and keeps it going.
Let’s be honest. Life is hard. If 2020 taught us anything, it’s not going to get any easier. One of things coming to church helps with - coming together with other people, who have their own problems, situations , hardships, and all the various other things life throws our way. And we come together and put all that aside, and we worship the creator of the universe. No doubt, their are lots of churches in Lubbock, Texas. But I encourage you to find a church, find a pastor. Find a place you can be helped. Find a church near you that can help you learn what the word of God has to say about your problem or situation. Find a church near you that will encourage you to keep going.
This Sunday don’t miss out on the opportunity to find a church near you that can bring you into a closer relationship with Jesus.
Remember - God knows best.
Philippians 1:6
6 being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;
